I figured since this is the second time someone has sent me this in recent memory it deserves to be shared. What this guy can do with a bicycle is absolutely inhuman – like seriously, don’t you just kinda loathe people that are THAT good at something. Well, this guy soars past the loathing part and back into the realm of worship. Dig it…
This guy is just straight up wicked. French street artist Invader kills it again with this sped-up footage of him assembling his latest creation – a rubik’s cube rendition of The Beatles iconic Abbey Road album cover. And then as if that wasn’t enough, he “re-works” the piece to be the cover of the Clash’s London Calling?! Seriously, how awesome is this guy?
Lawrence sent us a link over on the weekend of a great time lapse video he did showing us how he achieves his fantastic works. Pretty cool stuff!
He’s also got a couple of new pieces that will be showing at the Giant Robot show that opened in San Francisco this weekend. Some of the usual Yang goodness, for sure!
Not much else needed in terms of explaining where I’m going here, but for prosperity’s sake I’ll indulge you.
I was shown this video of Marvin Gaye singing the US national anthem at the 1983 NBA All Star Game the other night by a friend of mine and was just absolutely floored at how simply awesome it is. I watched it no less than 5 times in succession and still crave more. This guy is just brilliant with his timing – such ‘pocket’ as they say.
Finally some great news from the movie industry! Arrested Development, the funniest TV show that Fox ever canceled, has been given the go ahead for the feature length film. Things had been held up apparently as Michael Cera ( plays George Michael) was holding out. Can’t wait for this one!
